At Saint Dominic's College, we are privileged to be able to offer five different languages: French, Japanese, Mandarin, Maori and Spanish.

In years gone by, speaking a second language was a specialised skill that would lead to translating, interpreting or teaching. Whilst these careers are still readily available, the truth is that with the globalisation of world economies and the lifting of international trading tariffs, speaking a second language has become a necessity, rather than a luxury, and will prove an asset in whatever career you choose.
